The home of Brodie Skin care (BSc)

The Brodie Skin care team is based in the idyllic rural countryside of North Yorkshire. Our regular running and cycle routes take us through Fountains Abbey, Studley Roger Deer park and Brimham rocks. With such stunning scenery to inspire us, we like to achieve our Personal Best in our leisure time and also by working to bring you our fantastic new product range.

Recently the amazing Brownlee Brothers credited their Olympic and World successes, in part, to the magnificent natural training grounds, here in the Yorkshire Countryside

Hi I’m Alison, founder of Brodie Skin care (BSc). I am passionate about effective, natural skin care and exercise. I designed Recovery Phase Rehydration Cream by looking at what happens to your skin when you exercise and adding everything it needs. I will not add anything to my moisturisers that are not good for your skin. They are vegetarian and cruelty free as well.

I gained a BSc Hons in Biology from Nottingham University before going on to a 20 year career as a Forensic Scientist. They were exciting times, with the discovery of DNA profiling techniques and the set-up of the National DNA database. Sadly the Forensic Science Service closed its doors in April 2012, but you know what they say about one door closing! It was my chance to retrain in Natural Cosmetic Manufacture and Cosmetic Legislation and to follow my dream of creating the perfect skincare range for myself and for sports-stressed skin….

Hi I’m Pete and, like my wife Alison, I’m a sports enthusiast. I enjoy challenging myself and have completed the London Marathon, the Six Peaks Challenge in 72 hours, a Vitruvian ½ Iron Man Triathlon, the Land’s End to John O’Groats cycle ride and many Great North Runs and Swims. So I know that us chaps experience some serious skincare problems too from our chosen sporting endeavours! I’m a member of Ripon NYP triathlon club, Ripon Runners and Kirby Malzeard Tennis club.

When I’m not gearing up for another swim, run or cycle I’m a Chartered Electrical Engineer and love competing in motorbike trials. And just to ensure life never gets quiet, I play the drums as well!

Hi I’m Allan and I love to keep fit and healthy with cycling, running and an all-round active lifestyle. I worked with Alison for many years whilst I was Quality Assurance Manager at the Forensic Science Service, where the idea for BSc first evolved. I hold a Master’s degrees in Chemical Analysis and I’m a BSI-trained Lead Quality Auditor for ISO 9001 and a UKAS Assessor for ISO 17025.

Hi I’m Becki and I love the outdoors. I enjoy walking, running and keeping fit. Alison and I have been best friends since we met at junior school and, whilst our career paths have taken us in many different directions, I’m delighted we’re together again bringing you the fantastic BSc product range. I have a BA in Business Studies and a CIM diploma and went on to a career in Marketing followed by Project Management for the not-for-profit sector. I’m looking forward to the exciting times ahead with the team here at BSc.
